to me. i started working at sidley exactly one year ago. ahhh...those were the innocent days of 35-hour workweeks with leisurely lunches and actually asking partners for work to do. funny how much a year can change your perspective.
can i quit now?
please?

Come work for me, Annie, grading Spanish compositions.
I'll pay you in Diet Coke and heresy.
:-)
You can be my personal chef... I've tasted your culinary creations and would reward you handsomely. With what, I'm not sure.
yes! quitting is just like winning. only not. i'm for it! i hope things get really, really good there.
if they don't, there's also a job opening here, helping me chase Little as i become increasingly unable to hoist myself from the couch.
done, done, and done! i will now commute between pennsylvania, butte and sunny cal. if only all my job offers were this great. if only i were getting job offers. oh can life get any better? :D
Annie, quit. Come travel with me. First figure out whose money we will use.
where are we going? :)
james, will you give me your chili recipe that we made when we were living with my parents that summer? or at least the ingredients you threw in...measurements are optional. :)
